French porcelain ashtray in an elongated scallop-shell shape, with molded ribbing fanning out from the narrow end and a molded scroll cigarette rest at the tip. White hard-paste porcelain with a glossy glaze, a scalloped rim with gold gilt trim all the way around, and a gold floral spray in the center (tulip, roses, and small blossoms in a coppery-gold tone). Recessed oval foot on the underside. Green script backstamp reads "Limoges / FRANCE" — no individual factory name is in the mark, so this is not attributed to Haviland or any other specific maker. Limoges is the city/region in France, not a brand. Single piece. Condition from photos: no chips or cracks visible; glaze clean and shiny. Light wear to the gold on the rim, and light browning/wear on the foot rim underneath. Please review all photos.
